- With vehicle in Neutral, position it on a hoist.
- Disconnect battery.
- Remove five bolts, one pushpin and righthand lower splash shield.
- Rotate front end accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and position accessory drive belt aside.
- Remove battery harness locator from lower alternator stud.
- Remove alternator bolt.
- Remove alternator stud nut.
- Working from top of vehicle, press locking tab to release alternator lower air duct from alternator and remove lower air duct.
