- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove engine protection shield.
- Remove wheel speed sensor wiring harness from retainers, then disconnect wheel speed sensor from harness.
- Remove retaining bolt for front brake hose.
- Remove front stabilizer bar link from lower control arm.
- Remove upper shock module retaining nuts from shock tower.
- Remove tie rod end to steering knuckle retaining nut, then separate tie rod end from steering knuckle.
- Remove left and right upper ball joint pinch bolts and nuts.
- Remove shock module from shock tower.

- Cycle the headlamp switch from Off to Parking Lamp position 4 times within 4 seconds.
