When the ignition switch is placed in the on position, the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) warning lamp will illuminate for approximately 3 seconds and then go off as a bulb check. This warning lamp will illuminate when tire pressure falls below a specified psi. When the warning lamp illuminates, check the air pressure of the tire and adjust it to specified pressure. When the vehicle is driven more than 18 mph after the adjustment, the lamp will go off.

After 5000 miles have elapsed it will light for approximately three seconds after ignition turn-on, then flash for 12 seconds. If the elapsed mileage exceeds 7500 miles, the lamp will light at ignition turn-on and stay lit.
