- Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
- Remove engine cover.
- Disconnect electrical connection, loosen spring type clamp and disconnect vacuum hose.
- Pull air filter housing upward, out of brackets and remove it.
- Slide protective cap downward from magnetic switch.
- Remove positive wire and disconnect harness of terminal 50.
- Remove noise insulation.
