DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2010 Volvo C70 AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2010 Volvo C70 cars and light trucks from 1990+.

Vehicle: 2010 Volvo C70 T5 2.5 L5 GAS
Take care not to damage the sealing ring in the transmission or the boot on the drive shaft.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove wheel lug nuts.
- Remove ABS sensor.
- Unhook bracket for brake line and ABS wiring and let it hang free.
- Insert suitable tool into brake rotor vanes and caliper to prevent hub from turning.
- Remove axle shaft nut from hub.
- Tap end of shaft inward approximately 10-15mm, using rubber or copper mallet.
- Remove bolt and nut securing lower ball joint to knuckle.
- Separate ball joint from knuckle using suitable tool.
