- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- On models equipped with 4WD, remove support bracket bolts at transmission, if equipped.
- Pry support bracket slightly to gain access to lower starter mounting bolt.
- On all models, remove starter mounting bolts/nuts.
