- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Rotate or lift belt tensioner arm clockwise using a suitable tool to relieve tension from drive belt.
- Remove drive belt.
- Raise vehicle on lift.
- Remove lefthand front wheel.
- Remove push-pins securing lefthand wheel housing liner.
- Disconnect A/C compressor clutch connector.
- Remove A/C compressor mounting bolts. Remove two lower bolts and one upper bolt ONLY. Evacuation of A/C refrigerant is not required. One upper mounting bolt will secure A/C compressor.

- Turn ignition switch to RUN position, but do not start engine.
- Press and hold reset stem in the lower center of the instrument cluster until the Oil Life message is displayed.
- Once the alternating OIL LIFE and RESET messages appear in the display, press and hold the reset stem until several beeps sounds This confirms the oil life system has been reset.
