- With vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
- Remove front tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove and discard front wheel hub nut. Apply brake to keep halfshaft from rotating.
- Remove stabilizer bar link nut and position link aside.
- Remove ball joint pinch bolt from knuckle and separate lower control arm.
- Separate halfshaft from wheel hub, using front wheel hub remover tool No. 205-D070 or equivalent.
- For right front halfshaft, proceed as follows:
- Pull knuckle outboard and rotate it toward rear of vehicle. Support knuckle with a suitable jackstand.
