When replacing the tire pressure sensor, the transmitter ID will need to be registered to the TPMS control module, Refer to "Relean Procedures" "Transmitter ID Registration."
Removal
- Loosen the lug nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Release the air pressure from the tire.
- Using a suitable tire changer, remove the tire from the wheel.
- Remove the screw attaching the tire pressure sensor to the valve stem, Fig. .
