- Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove rear wheels and tires.
- Using a suitable punch, remove lockpins and spring clips, then remove pads.
- Using a suitable clamp, press pistons back into bore.
- Install new pads, then replace lockpins and spring clips.

- Place a cover over the fender to protect paint from brake fluid.
- Disconnect brake lines and cap openings.
- Remove retaining nuts, then the master cylinder.
- Reverse procedure to install. Bleed master cylinder prior to installation.
MASTER CYLINDER OVERHAUL
Disassembly
- Remove reservoir from master cylinder.
- Drain fluid from reservoir, then remove seals.
- Remove circlip and withdraw pistons and return spring.
Clean & Inspect
- Polish inner surface of the master cylinder with a honing tool (cylinder grinding tool).
