- Raise car and remove wheels.
- Remove hairpin shaped locking clips for guide pins. Tap out one of guide pins while holding damper springs in place. Remove springs and other guide pin.
- Pull out pads using puller tool No. 2917 or equivalent.
- Carefully clean out cavity in which pads are located. Replace any dust covers that are damaged. If dirt has penetrated into cylinder due to a damaged cover, recondition brake caliper. Check brake disc and resurface if necessary.
