- Remove reservoir cover and diaphragm. Discard old brake fluid in reservoir.
- Inspect cover and diaphragm. Replace if cut, cracked or deformed.
- Remove fluid level switch, if equipped.

Description
When the vehicle is started, the EBTCM performs a functional test of the electrical circuits. The test cycle inspects the monitoring system components and system logic; the cycle is completed in about six seconds.
