- Install a spanner wrench by inserting pins into any two threaded holes of clutch front plate, then hold plate and remove hex nut.
- Remove clutch front plate using suitable puller. Align puller center bolt to compressor shaft and hand-tighten three puller bolts into threaded holes.
- Turn center bolt clockwise to loosen front plate.
- Remove felt ring retainer and felt ring, then using an O-ring hook and a small screwdriver to prevent shim from binding on shaft, remove clutch shim.
