Accessing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
Command codes instruct the ECU to perform certain functions while diagnosing diagnostic trouble codes.
Refer to Fig. for ISAT command codes.
The ECU connector on the wiring loom is in the form of a molded plug, test probes cannot be connected to the back of the connector.
Use breakout box 8611006 with test lead set 8611030, which should be connected between the ECU and the connector.
All measurements on the system must be made with breakout box connected.
