- Remove windshield wiper arms, then the weatherstrip along the front edge of the cowl plenum cover/grille panel.
- Remove four plastic nuts that secure the cowl plenum cover/grille panel near the base of the windshield.
- Remove two plastic rivets that secure each side of cowl plenum cover/grille panel to cowl plenum panel and the cowl top panel.

- Remove drive belts.
- Remove power steering pump bracket from water pump boss.
- Remove fan assembly and if equipped, the radiator fan shroud.
- Remove water pump retaining bolts, then the water pump and gasket.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque retaining bolts to 13-25 ft. lbs.
