Esteem
- Place front wheels in straight-ahead position.
- Turn ignition to Lock and remove key, then disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove Air Bag and "IG" fuses from junction/fuse box, Figs. through , located under lefthand side of instrument panel.
- Remove lefthand upper steering column cap, then unlock and disconnect driver's air bag module yellow connector.
- Open glove compartment door, then push stoppers on lefthand and righthand sides and remove glove compartment.
- Disconnect passenger's air bag yellow connector.
- Allow 90 seconds for SDM...

If using orange silicate-free coolant, do not mix with green silicated coolant, premature engine, heater core or radiator corrosion may result. In addition, engine coolant will require change sooner at 30,000 miles or 24 months.
