  • Visually inspect all related fuses and relays.
  • Visually inspect underhood fuse block fuse.
  • When only one cooling fan does not run, inspect cooling fan motor for mechanical binding or wiring to suspect cooling fan. If satisfactory, replace cooling fan motor.
  • If either fan runs with ignition switch off, replace associated cooling fan relay.

Never use cans to charge into high pressure side of system (compressor discharge port) or into system at high temperature, as high system pressure transferred into charging may cause it to explode.

  • Attach center hose from manifold gauge set to refrigerant dispensing manifold. Turn refrigerant manifold valves completely counterclockwise to open fully, remove protective caps from refrigerant manifold.

  • Disconnect radiator hose from thermostat housing.
