DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2002 Jaguar XKR AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2002 Jaguar XKR cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace -> REAR
Vehicle: 2002 Jaguar XKR 100 4.0 V8 GAS
REAR
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assemblies.
- Remove rear suspension assembly.
- Compress rear spring with a suitable spring compressor tool and mark tool position on spring.
- Remove lower mounting nut and bolt, then the shock absorber.
- Repeat previous steps to remove other shock absorber.
- Disconnect in-line connector, then remove out frame clips and clear parking brake cable through frame.
- Remove mounting nut and lower fulcrum shaft.
- Remove axle shaft drive flange nuts.
- Support axle shaft assembly, then remove hub fulcrum. Mark and remove camber adjustment s...
