- Lift covers, loosen mounting nuts and remove wiper arms.
- Open housing.
- Remove screw covers, mounting bolts, weatherseal and cowl grille.
- Remove cabin air filter.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque wiper arm mounting nuts to 18 ft. lbs.

- Open hood and pull hood pad away from righthand cowl vent screen.
- Remove righthand cowl vent screen and water shield.
- Remove cabin air filter from filter, Fig. .
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Drain engine coolant into suitable container, then disconnect de-aeration hose and both radiator hoses.
- Disconnect automatic transmission fluid inlet and outlet lines. Use suitable back-up wrench to hold fitting when removing transmission cooler lines.
- On models equipped with fan shroud, proceed as follows:
- Remove upper shroud mounting bolts at radiator support.
- Remove condenser core to radiator upper mounting bolts.
- Lift fan shroud enough to disconnect lower retaining clips and lay shroud over fan.
