- Remove two wheel spoke bolt covers and two air bag module mounting bolts at rear or sides of steering wheel.
- Lift driver's air bag module away from steering wheel, then disconnect air bag module and horn to clockspring electrical connectors.
- Remove driver's air bag module.
- Open glove compartment, push in on door tabs and rotate it down.
- Disconnect passenger's air bag electrical connector.
- Remove four passenger's air bag module mounting bolts.

- Remove rear disc brake caliper assembly as outlined under "Caliper Service." Do not disconnect flexible hose unless caliper requires service. Support caliper with wire or tie strap so flexible hose is not stretched or twisted.
- Remove rear disc support bracket to wheel knuckle bolts, then the rear disc support bracket and brake shoes and linings.
- Remove two nuts, then the rotor from rear hub.

- Remove wheel cover or hub cover from wheel and tire assembly.
- Loosen lug nuts.
- Raise vehicle on a frame contact hoist and remove wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove front axle wheel hub retainer and washer. Discard front axle wheel hub retainer. It is a torque prevailing design and cannot be reused.
- Remove air suspension height sensor from height sensor ball studs. Position air suspension height sensor out of way.
- Remove front brake anti-lock sensor wire harness from wire harness retaining clip.

This lamp should light when the ignition is turned On. After engine starts, the lamp should go off, unless a fault condition is detected in the powertrain system. If the lamp remains On a diagnostic trouble code is stored in the PCM. Following diagnosis and repair, the Powertrain Malfunction Indicator will automatically reset when stored diagnostic trouble codes are cleared from PCM memory. The PCM reset procedure allows the scan tool to command the PCM to clear all diagnostic trouble codes.
