STARTER & ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2002 Pontiac Aztek AUTOMOBILES

Vehicle: 2002 Pontiac Aztek 3.4 V6 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Loosen intake air duct clamps from MAF sensor and throttle body.
- Remove IAT sensor from duct.
- Disconnect vent tube from air intake duct.
- Disconnect MAF sensor electrical connector.
- Remove air intake duct and air cleaner cover.
- Separate air intake duct from MAF sensor.
- Set parking brake and shift transaxle into Neutral.
- Remove engine mount strut bolts and swing engine mount struts aside.
- Install a engine tilt strap using suitable tool.
- Pull on engine in order to rotate engine forward.
- Tighten engine tilt strap.
