- Remove master cylinder as outlined in this section.
- Carefully pry out master cylinder hydraulic line adapters from sealing grommets.
- Remove sealing grommets from master cylinder by levering out using suitable screwdriver.
- Press primary piston stop pin in to relieve secondary piston stop pin pressure.
- Remove front grommet sealing housing stop pin. Maintain pressure on primary piston and remove cir-clip.

- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assemblies.
- Remove rear suspension assembly.
- Compress rear spring with a suitable spring compressor tool and mark tool position on spring.
- Remove lower mounting nut and bolt, then the shock absorber.
- Repeat previous steps to remove other shock absorber.
- Disconnect in-line connector, then remove out frame clips and clear parking brake cable through frame.

- Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
- On models without supercharger, remove oil filler cap.
- Remove engine cover.
- On all models, detach accessory drive belt.
- Rotate accessory drive belt tensioner counter clockwise. Use a 3/8 inch square drive bar to rotate accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Detach accessory drive belt.

- Drain coolant into a suitable container.
- Remove two screws which secure radiator grille and remove grille for access.
- Release and reposition spring clip, and disconnect hose from charge air cooler radiator.
- Slacken hose retaining clip and reposition clip along hose.
- Disconnect hose from radiator.
- Release and reposition hose clip, and disconnect bottom hose from thermostat cover.
- Release and reposition hose clips, and disconnect two sections of molded hose from air charge cooler.
- Remove hose assembly from vehicle.
