- Remove engine cover by pulling upward.

- Remove air filter housing mounting bolt.
- Release retaining tabs and remove air filter housing cover.

- Pull off intake hose connector and hose from mass airflow sensor.
- Remove bolts and air filter housing.
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove fuse holder cover.
- Remove fuse holder mounting bolt, then pivot fuse holder, with fuses still connected, rearward away from battery.
- Disconnect battery positive cable.
- Remove heat shield cover, if required.
- Remove bolt, retaining bracket and battery hold-down bracket.
- Disconnect central gas vent hose from top cover, if required.

- Remove vacuum hose, disconnect electrical connection, and remove screw at charge air pipe.
- Remove bolt and noise insulation.
