- Drain small amount of brake fluid from master cylinder reservoir using suitable, clean suction gun.
- Bottom caliper piston into bore by prying caliper body against rotor.
- Remove caliper support spring by prying support spring from retaining holes located in caliper body, Fig. .
- Disconnect brake pad wear indicator wiring harness connector.
- Remove protective caps, caliper slide pins and caliper.

Halfshaft inner and outer boots are not serviceable separately. Boot replacement requires entire shaft assembly replacement.
Lefthand halfshaft is shorter than right. Identify and tag halfshafts upon removal to ensure proper installation.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- While holding link ball joint stem from rotating, remove stabilizer link to shock clevis bracket nut.
- Slide link ball joint stem from clevis bracket.
- Remove clevis bracket to bottom of shock nut and pinch bolt.

The Low Tire Pressure indicator lamp will flash slowly and sound a single tone when tire pressure is low. If tire pressure drops lower, the indicator lamp will flash rapidly and the tone will be continuous. When the tire is inflated to the proper pressure the lamp and tone will turn Off. The vehicle may need to be driven at a speed above 15 MPH for up to 10 minutes for the TPMS to receive this information. If the lamp remains On, a problem in the low tire warning system is present and the low tire warning system must be diagnosed and serviced to reset the warning lamp.
