  • Remove righthand sensor, downstream of TWC.
  • Match mark front propeller shaft relative to flange of front axle gear and to flange of transfer case.
  • Detach front propeller shaft from flange of front axle gear.
  • Detach front propeller shaft from flange of transfer case.
  • Remove propeller shaft from front axle gear.
  • Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
    • Torque flexible coupling to transfer case (M10) 108 in. lbs. (M12) 13 ft. lbs.
    • Torque flexible coupling to front axle gear to (M10) 108 in. lbs. (M12) 13 ft. lbs.

While the vehicle is being driven, the Run Flat Indicator monitors the set tire inflation pressures by evaluating each wheels rotational speed. This allows the system to detect a significant loss of pressure in a tire.
