- Remove 2/3 of total brake fluid capacity from master cylinder reservoir.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove caliper guide pin bolts, then the caliper from rotor and caliper mounting bracket. Suspend caliper from upper control arm.
- Remove mounting bolts and mounting bracket.
- Remove rotor from hub assembly.
Installation
- Ensure guiding surfaces on shoe and lining assemblies and mounting bracket are seated properly, then position caliper over rotor and onto mounting bracket.
