Relearn Procedures

- Place the ignition switch in the On position with engine Off.
- Using a suitably programmed scan tool, place TPMS control unit in the Learn Mode. A double horn chirp will sound to indicate the Learn Mode has started.
- If GM tool No. J-46079 or equivalent, is not available, proceed as follows:
- Starting with the left front tire, rapidly increase or decrease tire pressure by at least 1.2 psi until a horn chirp is sounded.
- When the horn chirp has sounded, the sensor information is learned.
- Repeat the procedure on the right front, right rear and left rear tires.

Removal
- Loosen the lug nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Prior to dismounting the tire from the wheel, note the following precautions:
- Use care not to damage the wheel clear coating when removing the tire.
