These models are equipped with self adjusting brake mechanisms and require no adjustment. The brakes are adjusted as required whenever the service brakes are applied.
Parking Brake
- Remove clip and parking brake boot.
- Ensure rear brakes are not hot when adjusting.
- Release parking brake to its lowest position.
- Remove clip and loosen parking brake cable adjustment nut until there is no tension in cable.
- Apply and release brake pedal to ensure brakes are adjusted correctly.

- Loosen lefthand strut and spring assembly top mount nuts by four turns.
- Loosen wheel nuts.
- Loosen wheel hub retaining nut.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove lefthand wheel.
- . Detach lefthand lower arm.
- Remove pinch bolt from ball joint stud. Protect ball joint seat using a soft cloth to prevent damage.
- Detach lower arm ball joint.
- Detach lefthand drive halfshaft from wheel hub by using a commercially available puller. Unscrew and remove hub retaining nut and press out halfshaft stub from wheel hub.
- Support halfshaft. Inner halfshaft joint must not be bent by more than 18 ...
