- Raise and suitably support vehicle.
- Remove rear tire and wheel assemblies.
- Remove catalytic converter pipe assembly.
- Tie off lefthand muffler assembly to underbody to support muffler out of way.
- Remove righthand muffler assembly.
- Remove driveline tunnel closeout panel.
- Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, remove rear bellhousing access plug.
- Following step must be performed to assure proper torque converter balance during installation. Matchmark transmission flexplate to transmission torque converter through access hole in rear bellhousing.
