Inlet
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.
- Reposition hose clamp at heater core.
- Remove hose from heater core.
- Reposition hose clamp at water outlet on cylinder head.
- Remove hose from water outlet.
- Remove hose from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove No. 1 engine under cover.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container.
- Remove front bumper cover assembly.
- On models with Trailer Towing System, remove No. 1 front bumper righthand side retainer sub-assembly.
- Remove oil cooler assembly.
- On all models, remove V-bank cover sub-assembly.
- Remove inlet radiator hose.
- Disconnect outlet radiator hose from water inlet housing.
- On models with Trailer Towing System, loosen four nuts holding fluid coupling and fan.
- Remove fan and generator V belt.
- Detach claw to open No. 1 flexible hose clamp.
