MANUAL PROCEDURE
- Fill master cylinder reservoir, ensure reservoir is at least half full during bleed procedure.
- If master cylinder is suspected to have air in its bore, proceed as follows:
- Loosen front master cylinder brake line.
- Using a container, allow brake fluid to flow from front master cylinder port.
- Install and tighten brake line to master cylinder.
- Slowly depress brake pedal one time and hold.

- Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheel and tire assembly and front inner splash shield. If left drive axle or intermediate shaft is being removed, drain fluid from transaxle.
- Remove drive axle nut and washer.
- Remove and discard lower control arm to steering knuckle cotter pin.
- Loosen lower control arm to steering knuckle castle nut to point where top of castle nut is even with top of ball stud. Do not remove castle nut at this time.
