- Shift transmission into PARK (A/T) or NEUTRAL (M/T) and apply parking brake.
- Raise and suitably support vehicle.
- Remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Insert a drift or punch into brake rotor cooling fins and against brake caliper to prevent wheel hub and bearing from turning.
- Remove spindle nut retaining rear wheel drive shaft to hub.
- Release parking brake.
- Remove rear transverse spring. Do not loosen outer tie rod jam nut.
- Separate outer tie rod end from knuckle and reposition tie rod toward rear of vehicle.

The TPMS will inform the vehicle operator of and under or over inflated tire condition. The system allows the tire pressure in all four tires to monitored.
